The new BY Data Model for the WMS Application is all ID Based relationships. This poses a challenge for migrating Configuration Sets from lower to higher environments. Smart IS has envisioned the Warehouse Migrator to make the configuration data movement between environments, as easy as, a click of a button. The challenges are compounded in a SAS environment, where all changes must be provided as a rollout. The WMS Migrator allows to create the extracted configuration in a rollout with custom control files to match the data layouts of the extracted data. The tool also enforces a sequential order to the data to ensure that the master/child hierarchy is not violated.
